CALL FOR SELECTION: SENIOR EXPERT FOR TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT

Project: MEDinCHAMBERS (Ref: A_G_4.1_0342)

Location: Barcelona, Spain (CCIB – Camera di Commercio Italiana Barcellona)

The Cámara de Comercio Italiana Barcelona (CCIB) is seeking a Senior Expert to support the technical management and coordination of the MEDinCHAMBERS project. This initiative, funded under the Interreg NEXT MED 2021-2027 programme, focuses on strengthening governance within textile value chains across Italy, Spain, Tunisia, Egypt, and Turkey.

Key Responsabilities 

The selected expert will support the Project Partners Coordinator in several areas:

• Coordination & Planning: Assist in operational planning, monitoring internal work plans, and ensuring coherence across Work Packages (especially WP5).
• Internal Coordination: Serve as an interface between the coordinator and partners, facilitating adherence to programme procedures and participating in steering committees.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose corrective actions to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Reporting: Support the preparation of technical progress reports and ensure all activities are correctly documented in the JEMS system.
• Strategic Support: Support integration of cross-cutting aspects and support the preparation of corrective action plans and reccomendations to improve project effectiveness.

Requirements

• Education: University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in scientific or environmental fields.
• Experience: Proven track record in managing EU-funded projects (technical and financial).
• Languages: Excellent written and spoken English is required; knowledge of French, Italian, or Spanish is an advantage.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of EU policies, IT tools (Microsoft Office), and the ability to lead working groups.

Contract Terms

• Type: Professional services contract.
• Duration: From the date of signature until the end of the project.
• Remuneration: Gross remuneration will be in accordance with the project budget.
